About the Festival

In 2007 the University of Adelaide held the inaugural Short Film Festival open exclusively to people under the age of 25. That year participants told and entertained us with their stories about the “Streets of Adelaide”.

Since then Sukhmani Khorana (2007), Emma Haycraft (2007), Alex Delderfield (2008), Lauren Lovett (2008) and Scott Haycraft (2008) have joined the winners’ list and taken home some fantastic prizes.

In its third year, the University of Adelaide Festival of Short Films continues to provide a great platform to highlight new filmmaking talent and the programs the Uni offers through the Discipline of Media.
